Somerset Punch is a traditional British fruit punch which is light, refreshing, and perfect for summer gatherings. It can be made with or without alcohol, depending on your preference.

Base

  • 2 cups apple juice (preferably cloudy)

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • Β½ cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Fruits

  • 1 apple, thinly sliced

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

Optional (Alcoholic Version)

  • ½–1 cup cider or white wine

  • ΒΌ cup dark rum or brandy (optional, traditional touch)

  1. Prepare the base
    In a large jug or punch bowl, mix apple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar/honey until dissolved.

  2. Add fruits

    Just before serving, add soda water or ginger ale for fizz.
